of awakenings and super heroes

and suddenly i woke up,
and there he was...no longer make believe
but quite alive and stronger than ever
standing tall and looking beautiful
letting me know my heart was still alive and
beating fast
i woke up and saw a smart, witty and passionate
man standing proudly
he had just shed some skin
and he showed such bright new colors
he made me smile again...
he brought me back to life
he told me stories and opened up to me
he kept me wide awake late late at night
and even made me think of a future
which i thought was already dead...
he gave me joy,
he gave me happiness
he gave me hope
he gave me back all that was stolen for me
isnt he quite a modern day super hero?
isnt he what superman should be all about?
